Over recent months, we've been collating your feedback and have focused on delivering the improvements that matter most to you. We've also released some other planned improvements too.

Scroll on to see what's new and check the 'coming soon' list at the bottom of this page to see what we are working on next. And please keep your feedback coming!

So what's new!

Banning anglers

A frequently requested feature is the ability to ban unwanted anglers from joining or buying a ticket/membership. You can now do this by blacklisting their email address. This will stop them from from creating or accessing an existing member profile using that email address.

Move/Edit an existing booking

The second most commonly requested item in our product feedback survey was the ability to move an existing booking from one date to another. This is now possible!

You can allow customers to move their own booking online, restrict it to admin only use or disable altogether. The choice is yours.

Auto-check out feature (Bailiff checkin/checkout reporting)

If you are using our check in / out functionality for recording angler visits at your venues, you can now automatically check anglers out after a defined period of time. This removes the dependancy on your bailiffs to remember to manually check them out.

Revised search & multi filter selection

We've revamped the member search function within Clubmate. Now when you search, the results are updated in real time, avoiding the need to click 'search' each time. You are also able to pin your most commonly used filters and select multiple options within the same filter too.

Downloadable QR Code

You can now download a QR code which links directly to your member joining page.

With QR codes, you can offer a convenient and contactless way for potential members to sign up. QR code promotions can be easily integrated into marketing materials, such as signs, posters, flyers, and social media posts, helping you to reach a wider audience.

New 'Manager' access level

We've introduced a new user access level called 'Manager'. This provides full access to the members area, including the ability to send group messages and some operational reports. They are unable to access settings and financial reporting.

Inbound message notifications

To avoid missing any inbound message from anglers in Clubmate, you can now enable email notifications. This will send you and other admin users an email notification, advising you that you have a new inbound message to review.

Accepting bookings via your own website

There are two options to linking your bookings diary to your website. The first is by using a simple hyperlink to your dedicated bookings page. The second is by embedding our new Timetable widget. This allows anglers to view upcoming activities and availability without leaving your site.

Member tagging

We've introduced the first phase of member 'tagging'. This allows you to manually tag members records based on criteria you set out, making it easier to identify, filter and group members together. At present this is a manual process, however we plan to introduce automated tagging based on member behaviour (eg, purchased a membership, made a booking, bought a product etc.). This will then combine with our existing automation tools, helping you provide a more personalised and more efficient service for your anglers.
