How to move an existing booking

Moving a booking to another session

If an angler accidentally books the wrong day, changes their mind or you simply wish to to move their booking to another day, you can either move their booking manually via the diary or they can move it themselves via their online profile.

It is only possible to move the booking to a like for like activity on an available date. For example, if they have booked a Day Ticket on 1st July and want to move it to the 2nd July but the new date is fully booked then it would not be able eligible for them to move to it. They also couldn't change activity type (eg, Day Ticket to Evening Ticket).

How to move a booking manually

To move a booking, locate the original booking within the Diary and then click on the Edit button (pencil icon).

You can then choose a new dat for the booking from the drop down list.

Once the new date is selected, click on 'Move Booking' and the booking will be moved. The angler will also receive an updated booking notification.

How an angler moves their own booking

An angler can move a booking via their own online profile. Once they have logged in, they can locate their upcoming bookings by clicking on the 'Upcoming' tile in the app.

This will direct them to all of their upcoming bookings where they can move their existing booking by clicking on the 'Move booking' button.

They will then be presented with the available sessions that they can move their booking to.

Once the new date has been selected, they need to click on 'Move booking' and it will send an updated booking notification.

How to restrict the ability for anglers and/or staff to move a booking

If you prefer to restrict the ability to move a booking to admin users only, or disable the ability to move a booking altogether, you can configure this via Settings > Club Info > Diary/Bookings tab

Once you are on the Diary/Booking tab, you will see a box title 'Options'. You can then choose from the following 'Booking move options' Enabled, Disabled or Admin Only.

Enabled = Both admin users and anglers can move the booking

Disabled = The ability to move a booking is disabled for both admin users and anglers.

Admin only = Only admin users will have the ability to move a booking. Anglers will therefore need to contact the venue in order to make changes.
