Latest release - product updates
We've packed this release with lots of smaller feature sets, all of which have been requested by our customers over the past 12 months. Some features will be more relevant for some than others but we hope that everyone will benefit from some additional value with this update.
As heads up, if you've previously asked us for the ability to capture Car Registration numbers, you'll be particularly happy π.
Custom Fields
We've introduced the ability for you to capture custom information from your members/customers via the online portal and store it automatically against their profile.
You can create any custom field you like, which you can then label to suit your organisations needs. For example, if you want to capture a Vehicle Registration number, you can create a Custom Field labelled 'Vehicle Registration number' and this field will then be prompted for each member/customer to complete via their own profile.
They will have access to update this information 24/7 and you will be able to search against it in the members grid too.
You can create as many custom fields as you like and can use them to capture whatever information is relevant at your organisation eg, car reg, rod licence number, non-fishing partners name, occupation etc.

Booking notifications
When a customer or member books a ticket, you can now choose to receive an automated notification. You can also choose whether you want it to go to all Owner users or just to the assigned Instructor/Guide.
You will also be able to sync these bookings direct to your preferred calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple etc.) with out new iCal integration. Customers and members will be able to sync their bookings too.

Copy/Duplicate membership plans, products, activities & awards
To help reduce the time it takes to create multiple plans, products, activities and awards, you can now copy/duplicate an existing item at the click of a button.
By clicking Copy, you will create an exact duplicate of the existing item, so all you need to do is refine the copied version rather than creating from scratch each time.
As default, the new copied version will not be automatically available online however all other settings will be copied across.
Bulk actions
We've introduced a new menu item called Bulk Actions. This allows you to update your memberships in Bulk rather than individually for each member.
Specifically, you can now close expired memberships, extend membership end dates, update ongoing payment plans and cancel prospective memberships in bulk (more actions to be added too).
Please use this tool with care though, you will have the ability to update all memberships in a few clicks so make sure you follow the instructions! Once the bulk update is scheduled, it cannot be undone.

Booking bans
From time to time, you may have members/customers who abuse your booking system. They're often the ones who book for weeks ahead to block out a space for themselves but then don't turn up or cancel in advance - potentially stopping someone else from a days fishing.
Up until now, other than have a quiet word with them, there's not been much you can do. But now you have the power to ban or restrict someone from making a booking, with our new Booking Ban feature.
You can choose to issue a blanket ban for a specific period of time or you can block them from being able to book a specific activity type only (eg, Day tickets, Matches, Exchange Tickets etc.).

Other enhancements
Bolt-ons now appear in the New or Renew members reports.
iCal integration enables attendees to sync their booking with their own calendar (outlook, gmail, apple etc.)
We have made lots of smaller changes & bug fixes throughout the system to improve your user experience too.

Bailiff app
Mobile app providing restricted access to member data. Ideal for Bailiffs as it will provide only the basic information that a Bailiff needs to know - whether an angler is authorised to fish or not. *we know how excited you are about this feature and can assure you we are working very hard to get this to you as soon as we can. This will be our next big release and we'll be providing more information nearer the time.
Member / customer app
Mobile app providing members & customers with direct access to their profile via their smart phone. Users will be able to update their details, purchase a membership and make bookings without the need to login every time.
