Following the successful the launch of Clubmate Pay in March 2025, the majority of our clubs and fisheries have already made the switch from Stripe and now benefit from more payment options, improved reporting, faster payouts and lower fees.
As a result, it's no longer commercially viable for us to continue maintaining the Stripe integration on the Clubmate platform.
From 1st February 2026, the Stripe integration will be removed and will no longer be supported within Clubmate. This means that from that date you will only be able to accept card payments using Clubmate Pay.
To ensure there is no disruption to your payments, we strongly encourage all customers currently using Stripe to switch on Clubmate Pay as soon as possible. It only take 10 minutes.
Once you have switched on Clubmate Pay, all future payments will be processed via Clubmate Pay instead of Stripe. You do not need to disconnect your Stripe account, we will do this for you on 1st February 2026.
What happens next?
Between now and 31st January 2026, the Stripe integration will continue to function normally.

Those who haven’t switched on Clubmate Pay by 1st February 2026 will no longer be able to accept payments through Clubmate.

Based outside of the UK?
If your club or fishery is based outside of the UK, we will continue to support Stripe until Clubmate Pay has been enabled in your country.,
