Why Use This Feature?

Track Member Locations – Know precisely where members are fishing at any time. Trace back who might have left tackle or equipment at specific locations.

Monitor Staff Activity – See which bailiffs are actively checking in members and where.

Improve Safety & Security – Quickly identify who was at specific locations for incident management.

Use Case Example

A fishery has multiple venues (e.g., Main Lake, Specimen Lake).

How It Works:

  • Admin enables location-based check-ins for the fishery.

  • When a bailiff checks in a member, they select the specific location.

  • The check-in report shows exactly where each member is fishing and which bailiff checked them in.

  • If tackle is left behind or there's an incident, admin can quickly see who was at that location.

How to Set Up Location Based Check-in

Step 1: Access Fishery Settings

  1. Go to the Settings menu in the admin dashboard (top-right corner).

  2. Select Fishery Info from the dropdown list.

Step 2: Navigate to Fishery Access

  1. Click on the Fishery Access tab.

  2. You'll see a list of configurable checkboxes on the right-hand menu.

Step 3: Enable Location Based Check-in

  1. Tick the box 'Enable location based check-in'.

  1. Save your changes.

Step 4: Using the Feature

  • When bailiffs now check in members, they'll see an option to select the specific location.

  • Choose the appropriate location where the member is being checked in.

Viewing Location Data

Access detailed location and check-in data through the Check-in Report:

  1. Go to Reporting in the left-hand menu from the admin dashboard.

  2. Select Member Reports.

  3. Choose Check-in Report.

This report shows:

  • Which venue members are fishing.

  • Which bailiffs checked them in.

  • Date and time information.
