You can use resources to allow anglers to reserve things like fishing pegs or boats when making a booking.

For instance, if there is a fishery with 20 pegs or a reservoir with 20 boats, anglers can choose and reserve their preference in advance, 1-20 in conjunction with their booking.

You have the ability to add descriptions to each resource, helping anglers choose the relevant resource to suit their needs. For example, disabled anglers can check the resource description and ensure suitability, or when certain pegs have specific requirements, like no night fishing, or stalking only, you can make it clear in advance.

Additionally, you can temporarily restrict access to a resource, such as a peg, if maintenance work needs to be done for example. Admin users can reassign resources, so if the wrong resource is selected this can easily be changed.

Here is an example of what an angler might see when making a booking:

Check out our product tour within Clubmate on how to set up resources by clicking on the button below, you'll need to be using Clubmate via a desktop for this.

Alternatively use our step by step written guide below -

You'll need to have 'Owner' user admin access in order to setup Resources.

Firstly, go to 'Settings' from the admin dashboard

Resource types are a way of grouping resources, for example if you have different lakes with different numbers of pegs or boats.

Firstly you'll need to add a new resource type by selecting the option in the top right corner 'Add new resource type'.

Once you've named your resource type, click Add and Close.

Now you've added the resource type you can continue and add a resource.

Go to the 'Settings' menu and select 'Resources' from the dropdown menu.

Now you'll need to add a new resource.

For example, Peg 1, Beat 2, Boat 3 etc.

Now select from the resource types to add the resource to that group.

Click here to add the resource and edit it's settings.

Here you can add a description.

This can include specific information on the peg, beat or boat that you want to display to the angler before they confirm their booking. For example, disabled peg.

You can select a date for the resource to be active from here.

Just ensure this aligns with your bookable activity the resource is linked to.

You can mark the resource as unavailable by ticking here.

You can select an image to illustrate the resource here. For example, this could be a map of the venue, images from the peg or a photo of the boat they are selecting etc.

Activities

The 'Activities' option on the right hand side enables you to link the resource to your chosen bookable activity.

Just ensure the number of resources you create and the maximum number of attendees in your activity is set as the same. If you'd like to make all of the pegs on your venue or boats available to anglers to select.

Once you've amended the resource settings accordingly don't forget to hit 'Save Changes' in the top right hand corner.
