The Clubmate member dashboard can be easily customised to include additional tiles of your choosing. These tiles can be used to display bespoke content within the app, or links to external web pages.

There a number of use cases, for example a fishery could create a tile that links directly to their on-site tackle shop. Each time someone logs in to view their profile it's instantly visible, encouraging traffic to your store, boosting sales!

For clubs this could be a link to the local tackle shop or a club news page.

⚠️ Before you start editing - Please be aware that if you delete ANY content, tiles, pages. You will not be able to get them back, there are no back ups of your content ⚠️

How to set up a custom tile

To create a custom tile, start by logging into Clubmate as an owner user.

From the dashboard click "Settings" in the top right corner

From here click on "Fishery Info"

From the Club Settings page click on the "Members Area" tab

This will take you the the following screen, from here click on "Manage" for Club Info

Click on + Add Custom Page

Be aware that depending on your software package, you maybe limited to how many custom tiles you can add.

Plus package is limited to 5 custom tiles & all other packages have no limits

You'll then be prompted to give the page a title, do this and then click "Add"

Once you've added a page name, click the "Edit" option

You can now choose the background design of the tile. This can be a solid colour or you can upload an image as a background.

Images size is best at 500px X 500px

Please be aware that Legacy package does not allow images & will be set to the default background colour.

Choose tile visibility

You can select who the tile is visible to, whether that's non-members and members, just members or just non-members. This could prove useful for information you'd like to be easily accessible to just your members such as maps or gate codes.

If you would like the tile to redirect to an external webpage, you must enter a redirect URL. Please leave this blank if you want to use a Clubmate hosted page (keep reading to learn how to add a hosted page).

Ensure the "Published?", "Show as a tile in Club Info" and "Show on menu" tick boxes are checked as appropriate and then click Update to complete the process.

Parent / Child Tiles

You can now "group" tiles under 1 Parent tile eg if you have Multiple Maps, have Parent tile called MAPS & then add the individual (child) waters under the main one

In the Club Info editor - Custom pages

If you already have the Individual tiles, all you do is "link" them to the Parent tile.

If you have not already got the individual tiles to link? You will need to create them by following the above steps.

1) Create the Parent tile by following the above steps

2) Link the "Child" Tiles

Click on the EDIT button on tile you want to link & then select the "Parent" to link to & click Update

Once linked, the "child" tiles will be in a drop down under the parent tile. Click on the V to show the child list.

You can drag to re-arrange the child tile order

The Grey Up arrow = Remove from the group & move page back to a parent tile.

The Blue Edit = Opens the child tiles editing options

The Red trash can = ⚠️ Deletes the tile & CAN NOT BE UNDONE ⚠️

Clubmate hosted page

Instead of redirecting to an external webpage, you can also create a dedicated hosted page within the app.

⚠️ This is best done on a desktop/laptop, "edit this page is not available in mobile/app" ⚠️

To do this click on the link for the tile you've created.

Then click on "Edit this page"

This will enable you to manually add/edit content on that page. You can choose to add text, videos, images or tables and can choose from a selection of different font styles.

Once you are happy with the content, click "Save changes" in the top left.

Done!
