Clubmate provides flexible tools to help you manage membership caps and control new registrations. This guide outlines how to use operational controls and system settings to achieve these goals effectively.
To prevent any further new registrations or prospective members for your club or fishery, you can disable online registration or block membership plan purchases. This guide will explain both options.
To do this, go to the "Settings" tab on the top right of the screen, then select "Fishery Info" on the dropdown list and navigate to the "Members Area" tab.
Then select the "Membership" tab
Then click on Settings (blue) Edit button
Here you can untick or tick Disable online registration
Option 2: Disable Membership Plans
Go to the Settings menu and select Membership Plans.
Open each membership plan and navigate to the Details tab.
Turn off the option for Can be bought online and save changes.
Repeat this process for all membership plans.
This method ensures that no new memberships can be purchased online, providing an alternative way to control new registrations.
Be aware that if you activate this, new accounts cannot be registered, and no new members or family members can be added.
Best Practices for Membership Management
Regularly review your membership settings to ensure they align with your goals.
Communicate changes, such as caps or registration closures, to your members to manage expectations.
Use waiting lists to maintain interest and streamline future membership processes.
