Latest release - product updates

Multi-currency functionality

  • Clubmate is now available to fishing clubs worldwide.

  • Via our integration with Stripe, clubs can collect their fees in other currencies - these include GBP, EUR, USD, AUD & NZD.

  • Clubs can choose which currency they wish to accept all of their payments in.

  • Clubs are only able to collect fees in a single currency. It is not possible to accept payments in more than one currency.

see Schemes & Currencies supported for more information

Card Payments - Stripe integration enhancement

  • Members can now update their own card details from the member portal.

  • Strong Customer Authentication (SCA). We have upgraded our integration with Stripe so that it is ready for the new SCA regulations when they come in to force.

  • PCI compliance update - from now on Clubs will need to gain specific permission from Stripe if they want to accept payments face to face or over the phone. See more info here.

Member photos

  • Members will now be prompted to add their photo earlier on in the online joining process.

  • The photo will be captured at the same time as they add their personal details.

  • Adding a photo is still not mandatory however we believe it will reduce the volume of members who forget to upload their photos during the registration process.

see Online Member Experience for more detail

Marketing Sources

  • To make it easier to track where you are attracting new members from (eg, Fishing Event, Newspaper advert, Website, Google etc.), members will be able to select from a pre-defined list of sources when they join.

  • You can define which sources members are able to choose from.

  • A Marketing Sources report is available to keep on track of where your members are coming from.

see Marketing Sources for more detail

Staff Communication - Bug fix

  • We've fixed the bug that impacted the ability to send communications to staff members only. It is now possible to send group staff messages via the Staff grid.

Product credits - Bug fix

  • When a product has been updated with new activity access, any credits that were previously purchased will now also grant access to the new activity as well.
