Adding a page to your menubar on your website

Putting a new item in your website's menu

Written by Rob Harris

1. Log in at yourclub.co.uk/wp-admin.

2. In the left menu go to Appearance, then Menus.

3. Check the menu being edited is your main menu (there's a dropdown at the top if your site has more than one).

4. In the Add menu items box on the left, tick the page you want to add. If you can't see it, click View All or use the search.

5. Click Add to Menu. The page appears at the bottom of the list on the right.

6. Drag it up or down to where you want it. Drag it slightly to the right underneath another item to make it a dropdown entry beneath that item.

7. Click Save Menu. The change is live straight away.

Tips

Keep the top row to seven or eight items at most; more than that and it wraps or squashes on smaller screens. Dropdowns are your friend.

If Appearance doesn't show a Menus option, your menu is managed differently on your build; message us and we'll sort it.

If anything looks different on your site, message us through the help centre chat and we'll point you right.
