1. Log in at yourclub.co.uk/wp-admin.
2. Go to Media, then Add New Media File (just Add New on older sites), and upload your PDF. Once it uploads, click it and copy the File URL shown on the right.
3. Open the page with Edit with Elementor.
4. Select the words that should become the download link, for example Download the full club rules (PDF).
5. Click the chain link icon in the toolbar and paste the file URL you copied.
6. Click the Update button (bottom of the panel, or top right on newer editors) and test the link on your live site.
Tips
Say it's a PDF in the link text so nobody's surprised by a download.
To replace an out of date document, upload the new version to Media, copy its URL, and update the link. Delete the old file from Media afterwards so old copies stop circulating.
PDFs beat Word documents for anything members only need to read: they open on any phone and nobody can accidentally edit them.
