Help members understand what a product includes and why it’s right for them.
Why Use This Feature?
Adding a product description helps your members:
Understand what’s included in a product
See why the product is useful or relevant to them
Make more informed decisions before purchasing
Descriptions are particularly helpful when selling day tickets, credit bundles, equipment, or merchandise.
How to Set Up
1. Go to the product settings
From your admin dashboard, go to Settings → Products.
2. Add or edit a product
Create a new product, or click to edit an existing one.
3. Enter your product description
In the Description field, type in the details you want anglers to see — for example:
What the product includes
Who it’s for
How or when it can be used
This works the same way as descriptions for memberships or booking types.
4. Save your changes
Click Save Changes at the top of the page to confirm.
What Members Will See
When a member views the product during the online checkout, they’ll see a ‘View Description’ button
Clicking the button opens a popup window with the full product description
If the text is long, the popup is scrollable — making it easy to view on mobile devices
Descriptions appear wherever products are offered during the online journey — including:
The member area
During booking or appointment add-on flows
