Why Use This Feature?

Track Visitor Behaviour – See what anglers or prospective members do after clicking on your Facebook or Instagram ads
Measure ROI – Understand which campaigns drive bookings or sign-ups
Improve Future Campaigns – Optimise targeting and content based on real activity
Boost Conversions – Retarget people who visited your booking or membership pages but didn’t complete the process

Use Case – Retargeting Prospects Who Didn’t Sign Up

A fishery runs a Facebook ad campaign promoting season ticket sign-ups.

How It Works:

  • The Facebook Pixel tracks who lands on your Clubmate-hosted sign-up or ticket purchase page

  • Anyone who doesn’t complete the action is automatically added to a retargeting audience in Facebook Ads Manager

  • They are later shown a follow-up ad offering a discount or reminder

Ideal for:

✅ Increasing season ticket or membership sign-ups
✅ Reducing wasted advertising budget
✅ Running smarter, data-driven digital campaigns

🔧 How to Set Up the Facebook Pixel integration in Clubmate

Note:
The Facebook Pixel feature is provided by Meta (Facebook) and is not built by Clubmate.

To obtain a Facebook Pixel ID, you’ll need access to your Meta Business Manager account.

✅ Simply log in, go to Events Manager, create a new Pixel, and copy the Pixel ID.

💡 There is no subscription or payment required to create or access a Facebook Pixel – it’s completely free as part of Facebook’s Business Tools.

👤 Note: Only Owner Admin users can set this integration up.

Step 1: Open the Integrations Page

  • Click the Settings menu in the top-right corner of your Clubmate admin dashboard

  • Select Integrations from the dropdown list

Step 2: Select Facebook Pixel

  • Locate the Facebook Pixel tile

Step 3: Enter Your Pixel ID

  • In the field labelled Facebook Pixel id, paste your Pixel ID (you can find this in your Meta Events Manager)

Step 4: Finalise Setup

  • Click the green Set Up button to activate the integration

✅ What Happens Next?

Once connected, your Facebook Pixel will begin tracking activity across your Clubmate-hosted pages, including:

  • Visits to sign-up or booking pages

  • Ticket or membership purchases

  • Enquiry form submissions

This data helps you fine-tune your marketing, retarget visitors, and improve your return on ad spend.
