Why Use This Feature?
Prevent Incorrect Bookings – Ensure age-restricted appointments are booked only by eligible members.
Use Case Example
A fishery offers a dedicated guide, but due to hazardous wading conditions and health and safety constraints on the venue is only able to guide anglers over the age of 18.
How It Works:
The fishery sets up a guiding appointment with Age Restrictions (18+).
A 18-year-old can book ✅, but a 15-year-old is blocked ❌.
Ideal for:
✅Supervised Training – Prevent junior members from booking sessions intended for senior members.
How to Set Up Age Restrictions for an Appointment
Step 1: Access the Appointments Page
Go to the Settings menu in the admin dashboard (top-right corner).
Select Appointment Types from the dropdown list.
Step 2: Edit or Create an Appointment
Click Edit on an existing appointment or select Add New Appointment to create one.
Step 3: Set the Age Range
Use the first slider to set the minimum age required to book the appointment.
Use the second slider to set the maximum age limit.
Step 4: Save Changes
Click Save Changes in the top-right corner to apply the settings.
Important Notes
Clubmate cannot validate a member’s date of birth.
It is the venue’s responsibility to verify the information provided on registration, if required, directly with the member.
