Easily age-restrict memberships with Clubmate’s Age Restrictions feature, ensuring only eligible members can purchase specific plans.

Why Use This Feature?

Ensure Compliance – Prevent members outside of the configurable age range from purchasing plans.

Use Case Example

An angling club offers a Junior Membership for 12–16-year-olds.

How It Works:

  1. The membership is set to Age Restricted (12–16).

  2. A 14-year-old can join ✅, but a 10-year-old is blocked ❌.

Ideal for:

Junior Memberships – Ensure young anglers are enrolled in the correct membership category.

Plan Control – Restrict younger/older members from purchasing plans not suited for them.

How to Set Up Age Restrictions for a Membership Plan

Step 1: Access the Membership Plans Page

  • Go to the Settings menu in the admin dashboard (top-right corner).

  • Select Membership Plans from the dropdown list.

Step 2: Edit or Create a Membership Plan

  • Click Edit on an existing membership plan or select Setup New Plan to create one.

Step 3: Enable Age Restrictions

  • Navigate to the Details tab within the membership settings.

  • Locate Membership Eligibility under the Membership Details section.

  • Toggle the option to Age Restricted to activate the feature.

Step 4: Set the Age Range

  • Use the first slider to set the minimum age required to purchase the plan.

  • Use the second slider to set the maximum age limit.

Step 5: Save Changes

  • Click Save Changes in the top-right corner to apply the settings.

What Members Will See

When selecting an age-restricted membership:
🔹 A message appears notifying them of the age requirement.
🔹 They will be prompted to select or create a profile that meets the age criteria before proceeding.

Important Notes

  • Clubmate cannot validate a member’s date of birth.

  • It is the venue’s responsibility to verify the information provided on registration, if required, directly with the member.
