Our consent tool was originally devised to help satisfy GDPR requirements however it's become more powerful than that.

Some clubs use it gain consent for newsletters & marketing purposes but you could also use it gain consent from members who are happy to be contacted about work parties or becoming a voluntary bailiff.

You can add as few or as many options for consent as you like.  It is important that your members are given a relevant list here - which is why we are not providing a standard list.

Here are a few of examples:

To set up your consent options follow the product tour or the written instructions below:

To access your Consent, visit Settings and scroll down to Consent Options

When you create or edit one of these options, you have a chance to describe to your member what you are going to do with that members data if they give their consent.

It is up to you how vague or how detailed you would like to be, however GDPR requires distinct (‘granular’) consent options for distinct processing operations.

Then when a member first logs in, they will be prompted to opt-in or opt-out of their consent preferences:

They can update their preferences via the member portal too.

That is it - you are all set up and good to go.
