Whilst we are all about digital automation, we understand that there will be plenty of visitors, guests & members who may be less confident with technology and would prefer to download a document instead.

To satisfy these needs, you can easily add a document which shows as a link on any of your pages or posts.

How to:

First of all log-in as an admin user. And then navigate to the relevant page or post that you'd like to add the link to. If this is a new page then click on New instead (the rest of the process is the same).

Now click Edit page

Scroll down to the WPBakery Page Builder section and hover over the text block so that the Green bar is displayed. Now click on the Pencil Edit icon.

To upload the document, click on Add Media.

And now click Upload Files in the top left corner before either dragging & dropping the file or selecting it from your computer.

You must give the document a title (this is the text that will be displayed on the page) and make sure Attachment Display Settings show that you are linking to the Media File.

And now click Insert into post

You should now see the text for your document highlighted in blue.Β

If you'd like to move the text to a different area of the page, just copy and then paste the words in the new area. To amend the text that's displayed, click anywhere on the link and amend the words.

Click Save changes and then Update and you're done πŸ˜€
