Clubmate has been designed to play nicely with your website so you can take bookings from anywhere and at anytime.

There are two options available to you. One is to use a hyperlink to the online bookings diary (which looks best behind a 'Book Now' button). The other is to embed our timetable widget on your site.

Both have the same desired effect however it comes down to your own personal design preference.

This is probably the quickest and easiest option to start accepting bookings via your site. All you need is your dedicated booking diary URL and away you go.

To locate this, go to Settings > Club Info and then click on the Members Area tab.

This will display all of the direct links to your online portal, including the Bookings calendar (you might need to scroll down the page to ind it).

To copy the URL for the bookings calendar - click on the clipboard. You can then use this behind a book now button on your website and visitors will be taken straight to the bookings calendar.

*it is also possible to direct a visitor straight to a specific Activity type or Diary Entry instead of the generic booking calendar. This is perfect for one off events or matches or if you offer multiple booking types/locations. You can find out how to do that via Activities and Sharing a link for a specific booking.

Option two - Embed our Timetable Widget

It's nice and simple to add your timetable to your website so that customers and members can view and make bookings.

We've provided a short video and some written instructions for Wordpress below but a similar approach will work with other popular website CMS providers too (just ask your website manager to guide you):

To locate the Timetable widget, go to Settings > Club Info and then click on the Apps tab.

Navigate to the Timetable Widget and click Set Up
โ€‹

You will now see a list of all of your activities and a preview of the timetable underneath.

Select or de-select the activities that you wish to display in this specific timetable (you can create as many versions as you wish), then copy all of the code in the box below.ย

You will now need to insert the code in to the webpage of your choice.

Adding to a Wordpress site

Login in to your Wordpress Dashboard and navigate to the page on your website that you'd like to display the timetable.

Locate or create a space on the page where you would like the widget to appear and add the Raw HTML element to that row or column.

And then paste the snippet of code that you copied from the Clubmate timetable widget directly in to the HTML box.

Click save changes and the timetable will be added to the page. ย

Obviously you can play around with the location of the calendar & the CSS (if you're more advanced) but this provides you with the basics ๐Ÿ‘ย

If your website is provided by Clubmate and use our Content Management Service, we will add the timetable directly to your website for you. You'll need to request this change via the usual channels.

If you'd like more information on our content management service or would like to discuss a new website with Clubmate, please get in touch.
