To make it easier to track where you are attracting new members from (eg, Fishing Event, Newspaper advert, Website, Google etc.), members will be able to select from a pre-defined list of sources when they join.

  • A Marketing Sources report is available to keep on track of where your members are coming from.

If you're looking to grow your member base, then you're probably already trying a few different methods to attract new members (eg, Fishing Events, Advertising, Facebook etc.).

And if you're trying more than one tactic then how do you know which one is working or where to spend more time & possibly money on?

With Marketing Sources, you can prompt new members to select how they found out about you from a pre-defined list, helping you to keep track of your acquisition efforts.

Here's how to create your pre-defined list of Marketing Sources:

Click on the Settings icon in top right hand corner of the screen, scroll down and select 'Marketing Sources'

To add a new Marketing Source, click on 'Add new source' green button.

Give the Marketing source a name (Google, Facebook, Member Referral etc.) and click Add.

Now click Save and your done!

This source is now live and available for the new member to select when they join the club via the Member Portal.

Member Portal View

When a member registers online for the first time they will be prompted to select 'how they heard about you' from your list.

Member Profile & Reporting

The marketing source will be recorded against the members profile.

You can also report against the success of each of your Marketing Sources via the Marketing Source report
